Membership is open particularly to older people and those not in full time employment.

Important : If you are an existing Member (or have been a member in the last 7 years) then please do not use this page to renew your membership. Members who are rejoining should contact the Membership Secretary.

If you do not have an email address or telephone number, please do not proceed with the online application. Instead download the application form and follow its instructions.

The annual subscription is £28.00 per member, covering the period from April 1st to March 31st. If joining after 30th September, the subscription is £14 (not applicable for returning members). Payment details will be provided following receipt of the application (options are BACS, cheque or cash).

Note: Members meeting in outside venues, Halls or Sports facilities may pay an additional fee. Group social activities and field trips will be paid for on an individual basis.

Macclesfield U3A requires members to provide their personal information so that you can be kept informed about events and activities that are offered as part of your membership.

By collecting your information, Macclesfield U3A will:

• Store it securely in paper and online in the national u3a system, where local u3as only have access to their own data.
• Use it to manage the activities of the U3A and communicate with you as a U3A member.
• Share your information with group leaders/conveners for those groups in which you are a member.
• Send you general information about the Third Age Trust. The Third Age Trust is the national u3a office to which all U3As are affiliated.
