Membership is open particularly to older people and those not in full time employment. The annual subscription is £28 per member, covering the period from April 1st to March 31st.
If you are "brand" new to the Macclesfield u3a, we offer an introductory subscription of £14 for those joining after 30th September.
You are entitled to two free taster sessions before you join -see Note 1 below.
If you belong to another u3a, you may be eligible for a reduced subscription -see Note 2 below.
For some of our groups that meet in outside venues or sports facilities there may be an additional fee. Group social activities and field trips are paid for on an individual basis

Note 1: Taster Sessions
If you are "brand" new to the Macclesfield u3a, then before you join and pay, you are allowed two free taster sessions. This means for example that you can try out the same group twice, or two different groups once, or attend a Members' Morning session twice. Please make contact with the group leader(s) to confirm the date and time of the next session and to ensure that there is availability (some groups have a waiting list).
Note 2: If you belong to another u3a
If you already belong to another u3a, your Macclesfield u3a membership subscription is £24.00 (or £12.00 if joining after 30th September).
