Our Canasta group, is held at Gawsworth Methodist Church Hall on Dark Lane. Ever felt like you wanted to learn a new game? Or maybe you used to play Canasta a few years ago and would like to get that brain working again! Well come along and join our friendly group for a sociable and fun-filled afternoon. We break for refreshments mid-session and everyone is welcome, no matter what your level of skills. There are always members who are very willing to teach the rules to beginners. The rules are simple, but it's the strategy that you learn as you go along that's fun. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed. We play twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month except for July and August when we break for the summer. We are currently on our summer break.
